The making process

artwork is made.

Client vision and analysis of the setting
The process begins with listening: purpose, setting, light, scale and the client’s identity establish the field of research.

Creation of the sketch and study of form
The initial dialogue takes shape through drawing, as proportions, volumes and the relationship with the setting begin to emerge.
The first mark makes the intuition visible. - 03
Definition of materials, dimensions and proportions
Steel, metals, surfaces and finishes are selected in relation to form, light and the defining qualities of the intended setting.
Material and finish become part of the artwork’s language. - 04
Fabrication, working and finishing of the artwork
The designed form takes physical shape in the workshop through cutting, welding, grinding, assembly and the hand-finishing of steel.
Craft transforms the design into a physical presence. - 05
Transport, placement and installation in the space
The artwork is placed in the setting for which it was conceived, considering light, viewpoints and its dialogue with the architecture.
